DESCRIPTION: Panzitta Enterprises was selected by Luzerne County Community College as General Contractor for the recently completed Health Sciences Building. The project included the renovation of 42,850 square feet and a 9,500 square foot addition to the former Kanjorski Building on Main Street Nanticoke, Pa.

Eckley Miner's Village

START DATE: Fall 2010

DESCRIPTION: Eckley Miner's Village is one of hundreds of mining towns built during the nineteenth century in Pennsylvania. In 2010, we started a multi-million dollar project to stabilize and preserve many of the buildings in Eckley Miner's Village.

Elevations Lofts

START DATE: 2010

DESCRIPTION: These 21 high-end loft apartments are part of a key component in the Wilkes-Barre Revitalization project in which the city is reinventing itself as a hip, walkable entertainment destination.

Hazle Street Apartments

START DATE: 2009

DESCRIPTION: This project for the Alliance for Building Communities is part of the beautification of Tamaqua. This new apartment complex was a complete renovation of the Tamaqua Boot and Shoe Factory.

Saint Stanislaus Apartments

START DATE: Fall 2009

DESCRIPTION: This project involved the conversion on the former St Stanislaus Orphanage into thirty apartments.The Orphanage closed in 1972 and the buildings totaling approximately 45,000 square feet remained vacant until construction began in the Fall of 2009. After a twelve month construction period this facility was transformed from an eyesore into first class apartments.
This project was funded in part with historic tax credits and all work was in strict compliance with Pennsylvania Historic and Museum Commission as well as National Park Service guidelines. The project was so successful the Weinberg Foundation provided a grant to convert the recently closed church on the campus into an Intergenerational Center. Construction on that project will commence in June 2011.
